Venmo cardholders can now add funds to their Venmo balance from a linked bank account.
You can also split a purchase unevenly now, and include the tip amount upfront.
Other than that, we took care of some bugs, crashes, and other app annoyances.
We’ve made some tweaks to notifications that make paying friends easier!
You got enough privacy-policy emails in the last couple weeks. So, we aren’t doing that (at least not with this release).
But if your credit or debit card expires when you want to pay with Venmo, it’s now much easier to update it—right during checkout. Oh, and we also made a few tweaks to our privacy education.
We want you to be in control of what you share and with whom, so we’ve tweaked some of our privacy settings. And now, you can also see in-app transactions and enjoy an even smoother app experience.
